Underwood Family Farm is a dairy farm located in Lawndale, North Carolina. On the farm, newborn calves usually only get to stay with their mothers for the first 24 hours or less. After that, they are traumatically taken from their mothers and raised with other calves their age.

The male calves will be slaughtered for beef or veal, as they are of no use to the dairy industry, lacking the ability to produce breastmilk. Cows at Underwood endure the vicious cycle of forced impregnation, carrying their babies for nine months (just like human mothers), then the grief of having their calves stolen from them at birth, year after year.

When the lactating mothers become less productive, they are killed and butchered for their flesh; no different from large commercial farms.
Underwood Family Farm has supplied to the following vendors, although they now primarily sell in Charlotte:
- West Village Market in Asheville, NC
- Leicester Grocrey & Garden in Leicester, NC
- Roots and Fruits in Black Mountain, NC
